Blooming Schedule for Pinelands Orchids

The New Jersey Pinelands are noted by amateur and professional botanists alike for the many species of native
wild orchids, some considered rare. The schedule below is approximate and is intended only to serve as a
guide. Blooming periods may vary depending on climate patterns and other growing conditions.

KEY: E = early; M = middle; L = late; Months indicated numerically (i.e M/07 = Mid-July).
