The flowers fell off my #orchid and the stem is turning brownish, roots look like they are shriveling up but I put ice cubes in it each week to water it. Anyone have #plantadvice? I need some #planthelp here! pic.twitter.com/1gw24itzQw

The stem shriveling is normal—it’s done blooming and is just extracting nutrients from the stalk. Clip it off when it’s totally dried up.
I would advise you to stop watering with ice, though! Orchids are native to temperate climates and the ice can shock their roots.— dana scully’s shoulder pads (@fuckinsickbitch) March 27, 2021
